Allied Mineral
Products, Inc. is proud to announce the Grand
Opening of its manufacturing facility in Brownsville, Texas. A
Grand Opening celebration was held November 18, 2003. The plant began
producing and shipping Allied product in September 2003. Allied
Mineral Brownsville primarily serves customers in Mexico and
the Western United States. This facility also provides a back-up
manufacturing location for Allied’s primary manufacturing facility
in Columbus, Ohio.
The grand opening celebration was well
attended by many local authorities as well as customers and suppliers.
Attending from Columbus were Jon K. Tabor, John L. Turner, Jr.,
Jon R. Tabor, William M. Carmean, and Ed Rainaldi from Hanlin
Rainaldi Construction, the contractor who built the facility. John
Turner served as the master of ceremonies with Jon K. Tabor
being the keynote speaker. Allied also was presented with a letter
from U.S. Senator John Cornyn that praised Allied's decision
to build a plant in Texas and to use NAFTA to export goods
to Mexico.
