Chicago Fire Brick (CFB) products have a reputation for success in cupolas.  Allied Mineral Products, Inc. acquired certain assets of the Chicago Fire Brick and Wellsville Fire Brick companies in December 2002 to strengthen its existing cupola product line. 

Initially, Allied’s Research and Technology department worked to stabilize the consistency of CFB’s core products, but it quickly began to develop and incorporate new technology.  Allied’s introduction of many new, innovative products has lead to new stories of success for the CFB product line. 

The Chicago Fire Brick name is recognized in the Unites States for consistent, high quality refractories.  Worldwide, Chicago Fire Brick is branded as a product line within Allied Mineral’s family of high quality, consistent, leading edge products.
