American Precast Refractories (APR) is fully owned entity of Allied Mineral Products, Inc.  APR  began making shapes for Allied in 1995.  Since then, we have become a leading supplier of engineered shapes into a variety of industries in North America, including foundry, steel, aluminum, heat treating and forging and industrial.

Our Application Engineering capabilities enable us to design and manufacture complex shapes of almost any shape and size, up to 8 metric tons.  We are currently unsurpassed in our ability to design and manufacture shapes.  We make the shapes that others cannot. Shapes can be designed and produced from existing drawings or from an existing shape.

Designs include foundry crucibles, furnace structural parts, EAF deltas and spouts, tilters and skimmer blocks, round reverbatory melter covers, incinerator shapes, and rotary furnace shapes.
